Makes me sad.....

When I read something like this it makes me feel something that I can only describe as a cross between anger and sadness. I don't understand. We live in the richest country in the world, we have incredibly intelligent people all over the place (unfortunately not in the executive branch) and yet we still cannot figure out how to treat our men and women when they come home from war.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. If we can't treat them when they come home - then we shouldn't send them. It's pretty damn simple in my opinion.
